Here is my plate after I have glazed it. It has the blue and white glaze just like my mug and my bowl. They are all part of my set of three. Hopefully this plate will be out by tomorrow so I can get the paragraph written and my quarter report in!
This is my plate after it got out of the bisque kiln. It is going to be glazed with white and blue just like my bowl and mug. I really like that glaze and am looking forward to having three of the set. This week I haven't been throwing much because I have been working on my blog and writing paragraphs. I plan on throwing my wheel-altered next.
This is my mug that I showed earlier on the blog and am now in the middle of glazing. It now only has white glaze on it, but I plan to steal Maddy's idea and put blue on top of the white because her's just came out of the kiln with that glaze and it looks awesome so I'm stealing it. I'm planning on glazing all of my three piece with the same color scheme.
This is the second piece of my three-piece set. It's a bowl that I made carvings into with a footing tool. I thought that it was kind of boring, so I made the carvings, but I didn't really think about how my mug (the fist piece of my three piece set) didn't have any carvings in it. So, to fix the problem, I'm going to make the third piece of the set a plate with a lot of carvings in it so it will be a succession of amount of carvings from one piece to the next and glaze them all the same.
